Ease Payment Concerns With GRB's Lender-Funded Buydown
At GRB, we work hard to make the goal of homeownership attainable. But in a dynamic rate environment, it can be difficult for buyers to feel confident about when is the right time to enter the housing market. With GRB’s RateRelief+ Program, we’re helping buyers move forward with their homeownership dreams.
Through RateRelief+, buyers can lower their monthly payment for the first year of their mortgage and secure an easy, lower-cost path to refinance should interest rates drop before December 31, 2027.1Double Your Benefits
RateRelief+ offers buyers two (2) significant benefits: a lower payment in the first year and a clear path to a refinance with reduced fees.
- Lower Initial Payment: RateRelief+ includes a 1-0 lender-funded temporary buydown for qualified buyers. The cost of the buydown is built into the pricing, so no buydown funds are required at closing. In year one (1), the interest portion of the monthly payment is reduced 1% from the note rate. This provides buyers with a lower initial payment for the first 12 months of the mortgage.2
- A Lower-Cost Path to Refinance: RateRelief+ also offers a clear, lower-cost path to refinance should mortgage rates drop between the time of the loan closing and December 31, 2027. For more details, visit our RateRelief promotion page.
Combine With Other programs
GRB provides additional flexibility by offering RateRelief+ with a range of loan programs, including:3 government-backed lending (FHA and VA), conventional mortgages, GRB’s Cash+ family of mortgage programs, and select grants, discounts, and down payment assistance programs.4

1 Borrowers must meet credit and income requirements at the time of refinance. GRB reserves the right to suspend this mortgage program to new borrowers at any time without prior notice. Borrowers with a mortgage application in process prior to program cancellation will still be eligible.
2 Qualifying ratios will be based on the higher, year two (2) rate.
3 RateRelief+ is not available for portfolio or SONYMA loans. Applicants must meet credit score and loan eligibility requirements.
4 Buyers must meet the requirements for individual grants, discounts, and downpayment assistance programs and work with a GRB Mortgage Originator to verify eligibility if combined with RateRelief+.
